EMT presents Rent in 2011

Auditions

Auditions for our 2011 productions of Rent will be held on the following dates:

Wednesday 29 September 7.00 – 10.00pm – Audition workshop
Saturday 2 October 9.30am – 4.30pm – Auditions
Saturday 9 October 9.30am – 4.30pm – Auditions and casting

For the auditions:

General acting skills of the whole company will be assessed during the audition workshop

Those wishing to audition for one of the lead parts should prepare two things: a song from Rent sung by that character, and a monologue of their own choosing

Those wishing to audition to be in the ensemble should prepare the chorus number taught during the audition workshop OR any other song of their own choosing.
